The barista at Starbucks today told me I looked like Marcia Brady. He even called a co-worker over to show him how much I look like Marcia Brady....hehe
I also had my dress fitting for this year's bridal show (for those of you who don't know, I model wedding dresses at a show every January.) This year I am modeling 4 of them. I am much happier with my dresses this year than I was last year.
I have pictures of them on my phone. But I don't know how to get them off of the phone and on the computer. Maybe if I have time I will look at the designers websites.

Christmas Wrap-Up
Probably the busiest Christmas ever!!!!!
Well we did have a Christmas party the first Sunday of December and one on the 18th, but the real craziness started Tuesday the 21st with my cookie exchange party. I had a very good turnout and I am so happy that the weather was gentle and allowed everyone to make it. There is really not much to tell the blog but I made good food, we exchanged great cookies, and I gave everyone an ornament as a gift.
Then on Thursday (the 23rd) we went to a local bar when a band we know was playing and tons of our friends were there. Again, there is not much to tell-a few drinks, friends, and a band who we know. The main thing is we were out to 2 a.m. so that kind of made my Christmas Eve and Day exhausting because I didn't sleep.
Christmas Eve-
I had to make an appetizer side dish for the evening and sugar cookies, but I also had to squeeze a lot of time in with my mom who arrived from Wyoming late the night before so I was trying to get everything done with out being rude to her since she was in town and wanted to spend time me my little brother and myself (my older brother and her do not talk ever). So she took us to lunch at an Irish restaurant (my husband worked that day) and then we went to the hotel she was staying in for hot chocolate (her husband was with her and he would rather stay in a hotel) Then I had to leave to make my side dish and cookies for Christmas Eve party.
We then went to my aunt's and we have been going there for Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember. On Christmas Eve Day it serious never stopped snowing. We sent a record for most snow on Christmas Eve in my area. I really am not exaggerating when I said it never stopped snowing. After the party we came home and my husband and I opened one gift a piece.
Christmas Day-
My mom and her husband came over for banana and tea/coffee at my house. They left and my husband's family came over (his mom, step dad, 3 brother, and sister) We had brunch and exchanged presents. Then his mom, stepdad, sister, and one brother left and 2 of his brothers stayed until really late. I played 2 rounds of "Scene It-Comedy Movie" addition and then I went upstairs to watch Gilmore Girls while they played video games. We ordered pizza that night.
Today (day after Christmas)-
My dad and little brother came over and watched the BEARS game and I made dinner (cheesy potato and sirlion and turtle pie for dessert) then my brother, husband, and myself played another game of "Scene It-Comedy Movie Addition".
Well there you have it....I hope to post pictures tomorrow.

Quick Catch-Up
Just getting ready for the holidays around here....
*Cookie Exchange party is Tuesday night. I believe I am all ready with the planning. I just need to grocery shop tomorrow (list is made) and clean on Tuesday during the daytime and then sent out the food.
*Family is coming over to our house on Christmas day, but it is brunch pot luck style and all I need to make is the breakfast casserole. (and maybe do a quick cleaning before they come)
*My mom is suppose to come in from Wyoming on Wednesday. I will find out later if this is going to happen.
*made some Truffles last night....they were gone by the time I woke up. I had three of them.
We decided to not make the dog sleep in a crate at night time. So far it has been 4 successful nights. Nothing has been destroyed and no accidents in the house (he is very good at going to the bathroom outside, so I didn't think he would pee in the house or anything....but I thought in the back of my mind with the new routine something might happen and it hasn't)
I have been watching my Gilmore Girls DVD lately so it has been a Gilmore Girls marathon. I am just finishing up season two.
Since my mom lives in Wyoming, instead of buying Christmas presents and flying with them, she has been shipping everything to my house, so with her shipping and my online ordering....my house has been Fedex/UPS central....and I know we are not done yet.
Anyone watch Bama Belles on TLC????

The Reveal
Finally the reveal....
This is the card I picked!
This is the card I picked!

But I made a few changes for certain reasons.
The above picture if what mine looks like.
1. I looked through my supplies and I decided to try to use as many things I already own without having to go to the store. So I used paper I already have, so obviously some paper is different.
2. She used her bow/ribbon accent on the right side. I like it better where she has it, but I didn't know how she got the 3 perfect dots or circles for the card pull on top. I tried cutting 3 dots with a scissors, but it didn't look good. So I had to come up with a card pull. So I tied a ribbon on the inner card so it could be pulled. Then I thought that 2 bows would of be too much (and basically an unnecessary waste of ribbon)
3. She used sand paper to cut a gingerbread man out of which such a great idea, but I have a gingerbread man shape on one of my cricut cartridges so I wanted to use that since I own it and sand paper would of destroyed my blade.
4. I don't have a "Your Invited" stamp, so I used my cricut for that also.
I wished I would of made my gingerbread bigger!!!!! Why didn't I do that?????? It is too late. I had to get the invites out so I just went with it. To make it bigger I just would of had to turn a dial???? Laziness I guess.
The invite pulls out the top. I actually did a little more to the inside red card. But I forgot to take another picture of it before I mail it. So it looks better than this.
And there you have it.

Ladies and Gentlemen...It is time for a Shout Out!
I have a huge, huge shout out to give. It just goes to show you what a friendly place the blog world is.
I have been reading a certain blog and I have always been impressed with this wonderful crafty mom! The main reason I have been impressed is she is a huge fan of a good card-making challenge.
I, too, am a card marker, but not a good one.
Every year I host a cookie exchange and I wanted to have really good invites this year, so I thought to myself, "I think I am going to ask the most creative person in the universe to take on a challenge." So I asked this wonderful lady if she would like a challenge. I challenged her to make me a mock-up for my invites......aaaannnnnddddd SHE DID!!!!!!!! WAAAHOOOO!
Are you wondering who she is???? She is none other than the
BruCrew
Check her out pa-lease
Not only did she make one card...SHE MADE THREE
These are the three cards she made....
