But, I LOVE MMA FIGHTING, ESPECIALLY LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know why but it gets my adrenaline pumping. When I know someone in the cage, I about have a heart attack, but it is so thrilling. I do love it when my friends are the bad-a*% who wins though.

I have had several friends fight locally and I always go and watch them. I even know people who are trainers for people.

We went to the fights last night. It was so fun. I was the lunatic screaming in the front row. A friend of mine fought and another friend trained someone, so I went to see them. Both winners. My friend who fought, this was his first MMA, but he has boxed before and my friend who trained, this was his first trained fighter. I was so glad they both won.

However, it is strange to see a broken jaw, swelled up eyes (three of them last night) and people passing out from being choked out right in front of you. I was also shocked at the number of girl fighters there were last night. I think it is fun to spend the evening at the fights.

After I left the fights, I went to a bachelorette party which was drama filled. There is too much to talk about with that but basically: vomit, fights, lost i.ds., and all around fun foolishness.

Today was a little more low key, grocery shopping and then seeing the "Hangover 2". So funny! Please go see it, you will laugh until you cry.

Brain Dump

Well, I am just going to do a brain dump since that is all I have the energy for right now.

*My dog really likes ice cubes....whenever I get an ice cube he comes running to my side to get one. I always give him one. However, lately instead of chomping on them for a bit, he has been swallowing them whole. Is this safe? Talk about a brain freeze.

*My very busy week is coming to an end. I only have one thing to do tomorrow and it should only last about 3 hrs.

*Strawberries should be ready to pick at the end of next week.

*I also have a spa date with a good friend next week, so next week should be way better than this week.

*I am making brownies for a pot luck tomorrow right now. Thought you might want to know.

*The weather is so crazy....yesterday 80's today 50's. WTH......I don't know how to dress in the morning due to this. Rain, hot sun, windy, cold-everyday is different.

*I can't wait to see the "Hangover 2"

Another Installment of Jimmy Fallon's Pros and Cons List

Pro-Went on a Field trip today and had a blast. I felt like a little kid! We went to a Dairy Farm (hello I love farms!! I felt so much at home) and a Farm Park. We ate a picnic lunch at the park. Everything went so smoothly and I loved my parent helper!
Con-I AM EXHAUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pro-My husband mowed the lawn and it looks lovely and smells divine.
Con-He accidentally ran over a baby bunny with the mower. (It has been more than a week since he mowed and it has rained like crazy so the grass was really long and he didn't see it) I cried in my driveway when he told me.

Pro-Summer break is almost here.
Con-I still have 4 more days of work and it feels like a lifetime.

Pro-I gave my dog a bath and he is so soft and smells good.
Con-I kind of got a bath too in the process.

Pro-"Real Housewives of New Jersey" is amazing this season!
Con-I have to wait a whole week to see it again.

Lets end in a 'Con' -I haven't worked out in a week and I have not done this much of a break in YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me get through this week of work and I will have all summer to kick my butt!!!!!!!

Lack of Communication

So...when I first was with my husband (of course boyfriend at the time) he always used bar soap in the shower. When we eventually moved in together he started using my liquid shower gel and lufa (sp???) I did not know this for a while. After I found out, I bought him his on manly shower gel and lufa. He has been using his own gel/lufa ever since.

Well, I periodically replace our lufas after a few months. Since I have a purple and white bathroom I always buy one white lufa and one purple lufa. I always use the purple one while he uses the white.

This past month when I bought new ones I thought I bought a white and purple, but the store lighting and my hurried shopping I bought a blue one and a white one. I thought, "oh well, I will just use a blue one for a few months and go back to my purple. So I assumed that he knew to use the white one as usual.

Well, tonight he got home really late and has gotten home late for the whole week. I had a few things to discuss with him, so when he walked in the door at 9:40 he went straight to the shower. I went in the bathroom to talk while he showered. He reached down and picked up a lufa and he picked the blue one. I asked if he had been using the blue one this whole time and he said yes.

So here we are both using the blue one and the white one has never been touched..hahahaha guess I should of told him.

Also last week, I noticed that the blue one was becoming looser than the white one. I figured I was scrubbing myself harder than he had been...nope....it is because we both use the blue one and neither use the white one.

The weekend went way to quick!! I can't believe it.

Friday went and saw "Bridesmaids", so funny and really enjoyed the laugh.

Saturday, planted a few plants and rented a few DVDs: "Blue Valentine" and "Green Hornet"

those two movies=blah

Sunday I had a church breakfast to attend and then toured the new Rectory that the church just finished and I also rented "No Stings Attached" also pretty blah and predictable of course.

Sunday night I watched "Sister Wives", "Mob Wives", and "RH of Orange County".

Wow, that is a lot of sitting on my butt and screen time. I also cooked, baked, cleaned house, and visited with friends, so I sorta' have a life????

Today I got a manicure with a friend and bought a new toilet seat....jealous much????haha

I hate spending money on a toilet seat....I would rather buy something fun.

Tonight the hubby and I are grabbing a quick bite out. I can't wait for RHof New Jersey tonight!!!holla!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for so much screen time catch up. I need an intervention or more friends to distract me. OR a baby to distract me, that would be better!!!!!!!!!!

Hot Sticky Sweet

IT'S SO HOT!!!

Wow the weather went from freezing to f'in hot!!! Where is spring!!!!

Very busy week!! I went on an impromptu road trip to the other side of the state on Wednesday because a friend of mine wanted to buy a certain camera....the road trip was so fun!!! We were able to talk about a lot of stuff!

Tonight I am going to see "Bridesmaids" with my husband...I am so glad he will suck it up and go with me to girly movies. All single ladies-Find a man who is willing to do things you like and is willing to watch a movie he doesn't want to see just to make you happy.

While I wait to see "Bridesmaids" I hope to get some mulch laid down in the backyard and get two flowers to put in a planter for both sides of my front door.

How do you judge mail time?

I sent my mom a Mother's Day package last Monday. Today I called her and asked if the package arrived and she said it had not. gggrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was really hoping it would make it before Mother's Day! I sent it last Monday hoping it would not arrive too early, but also hoping not late at all. I wish she gets it tomorrow.

Welp?

Tomorrow is one of the hardest days of the year for me. Will I ever get to celebrate "Mother's Day"?

Also, I heard that Emily Giffin has a cameo in the movie. If anyone knows in the movie where she appears can you let me know. Hopefully someone reads this post of mine and tells me tonight or tomorrow morning before I go. Don't worry about spoiling the movie, I already read the book.

Weekday Random

Busy week and it is only Tuesday.

*this week is our towns bi-annual clean-up week. Basically you are able to throw large items and random junk away that is not normally allowed in the weekly garbage pick-up...I have seen things on the curb like couches, mattresses, swing sets, etc. Here are my three thoughts on this:
1. Happy because I got rid out a small pile of junk
2. This week brings out all the junk men....old rusty trucks drive up and down
my street loaded to the brim and past with 'treasures' they find in people's
piles.
3. I just got back from and walk and it was interesting to see all the things
people have to throw away

There is a very chilly breeze outside....as I was walking the breeze hit my eyes and the coldness made my eyes water....I think someone I passed thought I was crying because they gave me a funny look. Haha


My cousin called me at 7:20 this morning to talk about the Zac Brown concert...woke me up. But, after that conversation I was so wide awake that I got up and went to the gym. So, I had breakfast, work-out, and stopped at the post office to mail a mother's day package and home all by 9:20 am.

Now I am wasting the day.
