Today I watched a 2 year old and a 3 year old play golf in their first tournament. It was so cute!!!!! They are my friend's kids and I just went to watch. They certainly looked the part. They had cute little pink golf bags and three pink clubs (a mini driver, iron, and putter) They wore sweet little collared shirts and plaid shorts. They only played 4 holes (well the 2 year old almost played 2 holes...we just maxed her out for the rest) It was precious. They 'teed off' really close to the green and they had five stokes to get to the green, if not they could pick it up and carry it to the edge of the green to putt. However, they wanted to pick up the ball after every shot. It was really hard to keep score. The good thing is they were the only two in the 2&3 age group so Ava (3) got first place and Taylor(2) got second place. They both got medals. They were more interested in holding the balls, tees, and their drinks than actually playing, but it was fun. They got a hotdog, chips, and drink at the end and they loved that!!!!!!!!!!
In other news.........
My grandmother gave me tons of her old pictures and I am doing a scrapbook. If you are a scrapbooker like me.....old pictures are a dream come true!!!!!!!!!! I have been working on it this entire week, that is why I haven't blogged much....I also haven't cleaned my house or cooked dinner much this week.
I do have a "I didn't know I was Pregnant" story I will save for my next post. Stayed tuned..

I took 3 showers today y'all
The title basically sums up my day. Let's recap.
Got up, took a shower, and meet my mom for breakfast. Then I went out to our farm....we held an auction today to sell off some unused farm equipment, multiple tools, tires, etc etc I just hung around that and chit chatted with family and friends. Considering the fact that we made national news you already know about the extreme heat everyone has so I was dripping sweat and because I was on a farm where it has not rained in forever...I had dirt up to my knees. I then went in the house and talked with my grandma for awhile.
After that, I knew my husband was going to be almost done with his golf tournament so I skedaddled (sp?) over to that. I was able to see him play holes 15-18. He did not do so hot :(
Then I picked up some lunch and came home and took my second shower of the day. I laid down for a quick rest and then my phone rang and my brother was ready to go swimming. So we went swimming and then I hung out at his house for a few.
I just arrived home and took my third shower of the day and put a load of laundry in. Now I am debating on whether or not to watch TV or bake banana bread??????

Fashion
I always get a chuckle out of fashion I use to wear as a young girl.
My grandma just gave me a bunch of old chokers (you know the necklaces) she said she knows I won't wear them, but I could cut the charms off of them and use them to make other jewelry. So that is what I am doing, but right before I cut the charms off I put the black velvet choker on just to see it....it is so unflattering and uncomfortable...I can't believe I use to wear them in grade school....hahaha

I bought this today:
So we will see what it says.
Also, I am trying to find out how much fertility treatments costs if we do medical intervention. First I started by asking other bloggers who are portraying their fertility treatments on their blogs=no one has answered.
Next, I called my ob/gyn's office....person on the phone had no idea what I should do and when or how much it cost...she eventually transfered me to the billing department and the billing dept. had no idea how much anything cost...funny isn't it? Then the billing department told me to talk to a fertility clinic but could not guide me to any.
I don't know what to do first and when and how much?
My last year's ob/gyn pap appointment she did not want to talk to me about the route to fertility at that appointment...she just wanted to do the pap and that was it.
I don't know what to do and I feel so alone....nobody has answers......

RollerCoaster
What a rollercoaster of a day....I don't even know what to think.
Of course by now....everyone here (in blog world) knows we have been trying for a baby. This past cycle we tried really hard....and by that I mean we counted the days of my fertile time and did what we needed to do during those days. So I thought it was a strong possibility. I really did think that this month was "thee" month. Well today I set my alarm for 7am because I wanted to be at my church at 7:45 to volunteer at our food pantry that we have once a month. Well when I woke up I was soooooo nauseous. But it was a different type of nauseous than anything I have even experienced....it wasn't like a gas, flu, food poisoning type of nauseous...it was different. I couldn't even finish my cereal (still in the bowl on the counter right now...mushy! I barely made it to church...I arrived at 8am (when it opened) (I am never late for anything) I even had to hussle to my station before the families came in for their food. However, at the church I did not have the same feeling like at home....I felt so much better! Then after that was done...I came home to change clothes to go to the gym. While driving there...I got so nauseous again....it was so bad that I almost turned around and went home. But, as I got closer to the gym...I felt better. I seriously thought I was pregnant and getting morning sickness...I thought that at 7am. I even decided to do a very light work-out...I totally half a#$ed it. Then I went to the grocery store and felt the same way. I was totally convinced I was pregnant and going through my first day of morning sickness....I have never been so happy to be nauseous!
I even bought romaine lettuce and raw veggies to make a great salad for lunch and laughed at myself on the way home to see if I could even eat this great salad I was going to make.
Well after about 2 hours of being home.....I started my period. So nope wrong-o! Not pregnant.
Then I just let my dog out and I witnessed my new NEXT DOOR neighbor and her boyfriend (who by the way is younger than me and she already has one child from a different boyfriend)
pull into the driveway and she got out of the car not as pregnant as she was on Tuesday (last time I saw her) and she had balloons in her hands and papers and a overnight bag and her boyfriend ran around the car and took out a car seat with a baby in it and held the car seat and his girlfriend's arm to steady her as she walked in. So, I just witnessed someone else coming home from the hospital with a baby, I have never witnessed that before. I turned and ran/walked inside and burst into tears...this was not good timing!!!!!!
Also I was watching Army Wives and just finished the episode of Joan's baby shower.
So basically I thought I was pregnant for 7 hours.....now since my period started (two days early) I am completely devastated!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am just thinking about my younger than me next door neighbor in their house with a brand new baby who has only been home for 10 minutes. That should be me....thank goodness my husband is at work!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I didn't get his hopes up for nothing...........................
I really did think I was pregnant this morning....I do not feel nauseous at all right now.
I don't think I was ever so 'up' and then plummet straight 'down' in 7 hours.

Sorry
Sorry it has been so long since I updated. I have not been that busy....just nothing exciting to blog about. Here is what I have been up to lately.
*Wednesday I went to the zoo with some friends. I also ran into tons of other people I knew so it was a pretty fun time. It was so hot that morning that I decided to spend the afternoon in an a/c movie theater where I watched "Bad Teacher" very funny. (took place in Illinois whoop whoop)
*Thursday I went to an antique mall that was about a 40 min. drive.
*Friday I worked out and baked cookies. (kind of defeats the purpose, but oh well)
*Today I am going to go to an estate sale, the library's annual book sale, and then Bed Bath and Beyond to pick out some decor for my father's bathroom.
That is about what is new for me.

Warning-Picture Overload
If you live in the Midwest...go to Sybrais for an anniversary, you won't regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Note I found on kitchen counter morning of my anniversary (hubby worked 1/2 day)
My anniversary dress, I loved my dress!!!!!!!!
Because we were going to go to dinner as soon as we arrived I had to ride in the car in my dress. I really had no desire to change in a gas station bathroom.
Note to self-REMOVE GARBAGE CAN WHEN TAKING PIC-DUH!!!

This is my husband driving...I took this picture because we took my car and he put my sunglasses on to drive, so those are one of my many sunglasses, that is why they look like a girl's glasses.
The next three pics were taken right as we left. They have nothing to do with my anniversary, they are just to show you the area in which we live. I have no idea whose land this is....just local scenery.

Notice the lights under the bed.
