Marica, Marica, Marica

The barista at Starbucks today told me I looked like Marcia Brady. He even called a co-worker over to show him how much I look like Marcia Brady....hehe

I also had my dress fitting for this year's bridal show (for those of you who don't know, I model wedding dresses at a show every January.) This year I am modeling 4 of them. I am much happier with my dresses this year than I was last year.

I have pictures of them on my phone. But I don't know how to get them off of the phone and on the computer. Maybe if I have time I will look at the designers websites.

Christmas Wrap-Up

Probably the busiest Christmas ever!!!!!

Well we did have a Christmas party the first Sunday of December and one on the 18th, but the real craziness started Tuesday the 21st with my cookie exchange party. I had a very good turnout and I am so happy that the weather was gentle and allowed everyone to make it. There is really not much to tell the blog but I made good food, we exchanged great cookies, and I gave everyone an ornament as a gift.

Then on Thursday (the 23rd) we went to a local bar when a band we know was playing and tons of our friends were there. Again, there is not much to tell-a few drinks, friends, and a band who we know. The main thing is we were out to 2 a.m. so that kind of made my Christmas Eve and Day exhausting because I didn't sleep.

Christmas Eve-
I had to make an appetizer side dish for the evening and sugar cookies, but I also had to squeeze a lot of time in with my mom who arrived from Wyoming late the night before so I was trying to get everything done with out being rude to her since she was in town and wanted to spend time me my little brother and myself (my older brother and her do not talk ever). So she took us to lunch at an Irish restaurant (my husband worked that day) and then we went to the hotel she was staying in for hot chocolate (her husband was with her and he would rather stay in a hotel) Then I had to leave to make my side dish and cookies for Christmas Eve party.

We then went to my aunt's and we have been going there for Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember. On Christmas Eve Day it serious never stopped snowing. We sent a record for most snow on Christmas Eve in my area. I really am not exaggerating when I said it never stopped snowing. After the party we came home and my husband and I opened one gift a piece.

Christmas Day-
My mom and her husband came over for banana and tea/coffee at my house. They left and my husband's family came over (his mom, step dad, 3 brother, and sister) We had brunch and exchanged presents. Then his mom, stepdad, sister, and one brother left and 2 of his brothers stayed until really late. I played 2 rounds of "Scene It-Comedy Movie" addition and then I went upstairs to watch Gilmore Girls while they played video games. We ordered pizza that night.

Today (day after Christmas)-
My dad and little brother came over and watched the BEARS game and I made dinner (cheesy potato and sirlion and turtle pie for dessert) then my brother, husband, and myself played another game of "Scene It-Comedy Movie Addition".

Well there you have it....I hope to post pictures tomorrow.

Quick Catch-Up

Just getting ready for the holidays around here....

*Cookie Exchange party is Tuesday night. I believe I am all ready with the planning. I just need to grocery shop tomorrow (list is made) and clean on Tuesday during the daytime and then sent out the food.

*Family is coming over to our house on Christmas day, but it is brunch pot luck style and all I need to make is the breakfast casserole. (and maybe do a quick cleaning before they come)

*My mom is suppose to come in from Wyoming on Wednesday. I will find out later if this is going to happen.

*made some Truffles last night....they were gone by the time I woke up. I had three of them.

We decided to not make the dog sleep in a crate at night time. So far it has been 4 successful nights. Nothing has been destroyed and no accidents in the house (he is very good at going to the bathroom outside, so I didn't think he would pee in the house or anything....but I thought in the back of my mind with the new routine something might happen and it hasn't)

I have been watching my Gilmore Girls DVD lately so it has been a Gilmore Girls marathon. I am just finishing up season two.

Since my mom lives in Wyoming, instead of buying Christmas presents and flying with them, she has been shipping everything to my house, so with her shipping and my online ordering....my house has been Fedex/UPS central....and I know we are not done yet.

Anyone watch Bama Belles on TLC????

The Reveal

Finally the reveal....

This is the card I picked!

But I made a few changes for certain reasons.

The above picture if what mine looks like.
1. I looked through my supplies and I decided to try to use as many things I already own without having to go to the store. So I used paper I already have, so obviously some paper is different.

2. She used her bow/ribbon accent on the right side. I like it better where she has it, but I didn't know how she got the 3 perfect dots or circles for the card pull on top. I tried cutting 3 dots with a scissors, but it didn't look good. So I had to come up with a card pull. So I tied a ribbon on the inner card so it could be pulled. Then I thought that 2 bows would of be too much (and basically an unnecessary waste of ribbon)

3. She used sand paper to cut a gingerbread man out of which such a great idea, but I have a gingerbread man shape on one of my cricut cartridges so I wanted to use that since I own it and sand paper would of destroyed my blade.

4. I don't have a "Your Invited" stamp, so I used my cricut for that also.

I wished I would of made my gingerbread bigger!!!!! Why didn't I do that?????? It is too late. I had to get the invites out so I just went with it. To make it bigger I just would of had to turn a dial???? Laziness I guess.

I did jazz up the back. I like little details like that.

The invite pulls out the top. I actually did a little more to the inside red card. But I forgot to take another picture of it before I mail it. So it looks better than this.

And there you have it.

Ladies and Gentlemen...It is time for a Shout Out!

I have a huge, huge shout out to give. It just goes to show you what a friendly place the blog world is.

I have been reading a certain blog and I have always been impressed with this wonderful crafty mom! The main reason I have been impressed is she is a huge fan of a good card-making challenge.

I, too, am a card marker, but not a good one.

Every year I host a cookie exchange and I wanted to have really good invites this year, so I thought to myself, "I think I am going to ask the most creative person in the universe to take on a challenge." So I asked this wonderful lady if she would like a challenge. I challenged her to make me a mock-up for my invites......aaaannnnnddddd SHE DID!!!!!!!! WAAAHOOOO!

Are you wondering who she is???? She is none other than the

BruCrew

Check her out pa-lease

Not only did she make one card...SHE MADE THREE

These are the three cards she made....

Now the question is? Which one did I pick? HHmmmmm??????

I am going to tell you tomorrow because I want you to guess. My invites are already done and mailed. I have a picture waiting on my camera that I will show you tomorrow.

Please check out

Inside BruCrew Life and tell her I said Hi.

Things that annoy me at Christmas Time

I kinda' just thought of this and it might make a fun blog hop thingy....link-up thingy

First of all this is just for fun....I am not mad or upset...or will I be losing any sleep over this. I mean for this to be funny.

"Things That Annoy Me at Christmas Time"

I plan to pop up a few times between now and Christmas when something comes to mind.

#1

WHEN STORES/COMPANIES/MARKETING SAY "COME IN FOR A ONE STOP CHRISTMAS SHOPPING" OR "FIND EVERYTHING ON YOUR CHRISTMAS LIST HERE" OR ANYTHING SIMILAR TO THIS.

This is sparked because someone I use to know in high school sells Mary Kay products and she tries to advertise on Facebook all the time her mary kay stuff. She just posted a status saying "Find something for everyone on your Christmas List and finish your holiday shopping"

OK

How in the world would anyone find "something for everyone" at Mary Kay??????? Anybody else see where I am going with this?

Yeah, sure, I bet my Marine brother would love some eye shadow...and maybe my management father would love some lipstick, or my carpenter/deer hunting husband would love some eyeliner, or my duck hunting brother would love some hand cream?????? Maybe blush for my grandpa???? Even with their 'men's line' it is not something for everyone.

I also heard this same sales pitch at a cell phone store (it might of been verizon) "Yeah, sure, CELL PHONES AND CELL PHONE PLANS FOR EVERYONE!!!!!" How in the world would verizon be the 'one-stop' Christmas shop....
It just annoys me when obviously a 'make-up' or cell phone company will never be a 'finish all your Christmas shopping here' kind of place.......hehehehe

Thanksgiving 2010

We had Thanksgiving at my brother's house (we do every year). I decorated the tables....next year I might invest in nicer tablecloths and just decorate the tables every year. No one else wants to. The following few pics are my decorations....with crappy, crappy, crappy tablecloths. However, with cheap crappy tablecloths, you don't care if anyone spills.....

The next picture I took of my brother...doesn't he look like a ghost?

My grandma and two aunts.

A great time was had by all. I love Thanksgiving!

Preparations

So today I am getting ready for Thanksgiving. I am bringing 2 desserts and a green bean casserole. I also am decorating the table (seriously nothing too fancy for sure) I am bringing a cherry cheesecake and a caramel apple cheesecake. I made the desserts today and put all the decorations that I am bringing in a box so that it is ready for tomorrow. I will make the green bean casserole fresh tomorrow.

It is raining today and everyone on facebook said it is a freezing rain (I haven't left the house at all today) I think it might of been this morning, but now it is probably just rain.

Our roof is leaking just around the chimney part. I do happen to live with a carpenter, but I really don't want him climbing on an icy roof. He is still at work right now though.

I bought Sex and the City 2 yesterday and I might be watching that this afternoon.

I can't wait for tomorrow. I love Thanksgiving!!!!!!!

I took a selfish day today!

I...:
went to the gym
got a facial
bought 2 new cricut cartridges
ordered dinner in
watched the Pioneer Woman Throwdown with Bobby Flay (she won!)

Totally selfish day!!!!!

Picture Dump

I just downloaded a bunch of pictures off my camera and thought I would post some on here before Fall is over with and Christmas stuff is all over the place (since most of the pics are Fall pics)

The following are just some of my Fall decorations. I was using my new camera and just snapped a few.

The next set of pictures are when I made Apple Cider doughnuts.

This next set of when my husband and I carved pumpkins. This first one is mine and takes me all of 5 seconds to carve because I use my husband's drill and circle cutter. However I do this one every year because it puts out a lot of light on my front porch so that 'trick or treaters' can see.

Is it just me or is there something really sexy about a hard working man's hands?

This next set is just some of my puppy.

The following picture I call "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful."

What does my hubby look like again?

I am just kidding on the title. We are still in the over-over-over time work schedule. He doesn't get home until about 11:00-11:30 at night (once it was 1:00 am) and 7 days a week. This probably won't end until Thanksgiving. I don't know how he does it? He is a hard worker.

I haven't cook since last Wednesday and that is very weird for me since I love to cook. I work tomorrow so hopefully after work I can get to cooking again.

I am getting so excited for Thanksgiving. We do it potluck style so I called all my family and divided out the dishes for everyone to bring. I am doing dessert and a fancy green bean casserole. (possibly a sweet potato dish, but I can change my mind on that one if I want) I am also doing the decor. However, it will be held at my brother's house. I wish the weekend wasn't almost over...here's to another week....

Thursday

I watched Toy Story 3 today with a friend of mine. Cute movie! Then we just sat and chatted for awhile.

On the way home, I decided to stop by my cousin's bar. It isn't opened yet...it will open later this month. She is cleaning and decorating it right now. So I stopped and chatted with her for awhile.

My husband is still working crazy late. I feel like I haven't seen him in a week. Last night he worked until 1:00 in the morning. This second job thing should be done about Nov 18th. Then he will be back to 8 hours a day. I think he even lost weight this week and he can't really stand to loose weight. (I can though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

That is about all I know right now....talk more later!

Today was a hard day

Actually, more like just this evening.

I really just wish I could have a baby!!!! Why me?

I also don't understand why some days I am fine and others I am just so sad. My mother-in-law just posted a bunch of pictures on facebook of my sister-in-laws baby and how great he is and how proud she is of him. My sister in law will tell me out of the blue things like "he is starting to sit up" or "he is sleeping through the night", etc. I smile and nod and say "that's great!" But, I feel like I am being ripped in half. It takes every ounce of my being not to run to the bathroom and cry my eyes out (I just wait until I am alone to do that) It is not fair. She got pregnant from a one night stand with a stranger and I am in an incredible loving married relationship with a great man.

Getting pregnant should be the easy fun part. I also feel a little selfish because we have been trying for 14 months and I know there are people out there who have been trying for way longer than I have.

I would love to be able to surprise my mom and dad with a framed sonogram picture this Christmas. I just imagine them opening it and of course that is all I can do...imagine. I have zero money for fertility treatments.

When we decided to start trying (more than a year ago) I was ready that very month.

I just don't understand how my day is perfectly fine and then 'snap' I am so sad! I just can't take it.

Where is my motivation?

I wish I would of accomplished more today. I did, however, buy my first Christmas present. It is for my mom. I did make it to the gym, did two loads of laundry and made dinner. But, that is it. There is so much more I could of done. My brother came over and we chit chatted for about an hour. I have zero plans for this weekend. My husband will be working ALL of it. I actually might do more Christmas shopping tomorrow...maybe....

I really don't have anything else to say right now. I hope I have something more interesting to say next time.

Lonely

I have been kind of lonely this week. My husband has been working two jobs and leaves at 7am and doesn't get home until 11pm. (he is working his regular job and is also remodeling his aunt's bathroom) I went to the gym twice today just so that I could talk to people. This weekend he is also building some porches for a friends house. It is also deer hunting season so he is wanting to get out there. He has only been once so far this year. I am so glad I have a dog so at least I have something breathing to talk to. My brother is getting annoyed because I keep calling him to ask what he is doing.

It was a rainy day today but is was also VERY sunny which is always weird and doesn't happen very much. It is very beautiful when it is sunny and rainy.

I am going to start my Christmas shopping tomorrow. I don' have a lot of people to buy for. I want to be done before Thanksgiving and I think I should be able to do that easily.

Here is a funny story the cashier at my local mini-market told me on Halloween: She told me to be careful that night (again Halloween) because her neighbor had their brand new car stolen from their driveway two days earlier, BUT the thieves returned the car so it is ok, but to still be careful...

WHAT? Someone stole a car and then returned it? Does this ever happen?

Weird.

Here comes the chill

It is really starting to get chilly around these parts. Sweatshirt weather for sure. I am starting to get into the holiday spirit.

I really am not doing much today. I haven't even worked-out yet. I really shouldn't skip it since all the candy over the weekend, but I kind of don't want to go any where.

Tomorrow I am starting my Christmas shopping. I already know what I am getting my mom and my husband. I think I am going to get my mom's gift tomorrow just to get the ball rolling.

My husband has been working two jobs a day so he doesn't get home until 10 pm or so. So, it has been very quiet around here.

Is the weather getting chilly where you are?

Ok, better birthday post

Ok, as promised, I am back with a better birthday post.

I really had such a great weekend. I couldn't of asked for more.

-watched a few episodes of Mad Men
-I had a few visitors stop by and say hello
-went shopping with the hubby
-went out to dinner
-went to a movie-We saw "Life As We Know It" (I didn't really like it) We are going to watch Due Date next weekend so hopefully I will like that more

Sunday:
-opened presents (I will tell you what I got in just a sec.)
-I had a few more visitors stop by and say hello along with tons of phone calls
-watched more "Mad Men" Love this show!!!!
-ordered pizza
-watch "Friday the 13th" while handing out candy
-Oh and carved pumpkins. I usually wait until the day before or day of. The pumpkins look more fresh. I will never understand why some people carve their pumpkins so early and then they are rotten by Halloween

Ok, gifts (I love to hear what people get as gifts, so I won't be shy)

a new lens

This exact one. A compact macro 50mm. (since I am not a professional photographer, I just got the cheapest macro lens)

-a purse and money from my mom

-money from my dad

-another new to me/antique purse from my grandma which is very 1960ish...so very Mad Men!!!

-Seasons 1, 2, and 3 of Roseanne
I hope to finish my series collection at Christmas

-a crop-a-dile big bite (it is a scrapbooking tool for those who don't know that)
-a fryer and gift card from my brother
(yes I know this sounds weird)
It is one of those big outdoor fryers for like frying a turkey....they are nice to have....my husband is a fisherman so we can have fish frys

So all in all a great birthday!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to Me

Today is my birthday!!!! Woo Hoo!

I will write more of a post later. Promise

What's new?

Here is what I have been up to this week AND my plans for the weekend:

My grandpa is now home from the hospital and is doing fine. He even went out to dinner on Wednesday night for a short time.

I am now watching MAD MEN and I am absolutely addicted to that show. I am on season 3 currently and am sad because when season 3 is over.....I have to wait a long time for season 4 to be released on DVD.

I worked 1/2 day today and kinda left pissed off do to another teacher, but that really is a long story to type out.

Ok, my plans for the weekend:

Tonight my husband and I played two rounds of "Scene It" (it is a board game with a DVD if you don't know)

Tomorrow is my church's bake and craft sale that I will be going to.

Tomorrow night we were suppose to be going on a double date with some friends of ours but that is up in the air right now because one of the friends aunts went to the hospital for headaches and she crashed at the hospital and had to have emergency brain surgery and a cancerous tumor was found and it is rather large. She is in a coma right now. I told my friends to feel free to cancel our plans, but they don't want to yet. So we are suppose to be going out for mexican food and bowling tomorrow night, but I am pretty sure that will be canceled and I should find out soon. If it is canceled then my husband and I will go to flattop grill for dinner and then see the new movie "Due Date".

Sunday is my birthday (hence the reason we are going out Saturday night) and my friend wants to bring me a cake. Then of course it is also Halloween so I will rent a scary movie and hand out candy. This is the first year ever I don't have a party to go to. That is pretty weird.

Well that is my life right now in a nut shell. The temperature dropped a whole lot between yesterday and today. Yesterday I wore a tank top and today I wore a winter coat. It is freezing right now. All my plants are now brown since that have frostbite from last night.

Wednesday, October 27, 2010

Cry Possum

I just saw a possum in my driveway. Those animals creep my out!!!! Gross!!!! I was so grossed out that after he ran away I had to go outside for another reason and I had to call my dog upstairs to go outside with me to be my protector! Yes I know that is pathetic.

Today could of been bad

Today could of been much worse than it was. My grandpa had a minor heart attack this morning. He woke up at one in the morning not feeling well. He really didn't want to go to the hospital because he thought he had a tight chest and rapid heart beat from too much coffee, but by six in the morning he felt so bad that he had my grandma drive him to the hospital. The nurses put him on a machine and said, "Sir you are having a heart attack right now" My grandpa was "Oh ok" They wheeled him into surgery and found a blood clot and pushed it through. He feels great now and is in recovery. When I went to see him he was laughing and says he feels good now. He should come home on Tuesday. The funny thing was this week was his vacation week from work that he planned earlier. So now he needs to spend his vacation from work recovering. (He said he is going to take this week vacation and next week sick leave, so he is now taking two weeks off)

So everything is better now.

Right now I am watching Mad Men, however I just started season one disc one. I am two episodes into it. I like it so far.

And Now for a happier Post

Sorry, all my posts have been so depressing lately. It is time for a happier post. There is not a whole lot going on around here, but lets see:

*worked yesterday and then exercised

*stayed in with the hubby last night and got chinese take-out (which kinda' sucked since I had such a good work-out but the hubby was really craving it so I gave in)

*read, read, and read-I just couldn't put my book down

*watched two movies today: "The Six Wives of Henry Lefay" and "The Coal Miners Daughter"

*It rained this morning so I slept in listening to the rain on the roof. That is so relaxing I love it!

*did a little (and I mean little) cleaning

*talked with a few friends on the phone

Yes, I know not very exciting, but that is what I have been doing lately.

My birthday is a week from tomorrow!

Up-Update Again

So the answer is root canal today.....I am so pissed and scared. Never had one before.

Wednesday, October 20, 2010

Ok Another Update and some random things

Headache watch 2010-
I have found that motrim helps. (not tylenol or asprin) because it is helping I think I know the source of the pain....my tooth....so I called the dentist. After I described my headache/tooth ache he prescribed me an antibiotic and prescription strength ibuprofen. So I think that he thinks it is an infected tooth? I have an appointment tomorrow at 1:00. I am a little pissed that it took 2 days to get into the dentist (I called Tuesday and my appointment is Thursday) All my friends and family think that that is ridiculous and that I should find a new dentist.

I finally finished all of LOST!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!! I am stumped on a few things, so if you are a LOST fan let me know and I want to see if you could answer some questions for me.

I think I am going to start MAD MEN next.

I had to sub in a Life Skills class today. Boy am I beat!!!!!

I made a great pot roast last night and the leftovers are going to make beef and noodles tonight!

I need to go shopping for new work out clothes.

Ok that is about it....talk to you later!

Sunday, October 17, 2010

Update

My headache is still bad. I went to a prompt care today (since it is Sunday and my doctor's office is not open) the doctor there said to quit caffeine (soda) and to take magnesium so that wasn't very helpful. So basically I didn't get much information. I haven't had any caffeine today at all (doesn't tylenol have caffeine in it? so if yes then that is all) Isn't a 4 day headache odd?

Saturday, October 16, 2010

Go Away

Go Away-Headache

I have had the craziest headache for 3 days. I am not one to get headaches so it actually is making me a little nervous. Tylenol is doing nothing for me. We were suppose to have a get together with some friends that I canceled today because of it. That is really unlike me.

Because of the headache I am laying on the couch watching "Legally Blonde" I am not sure why I wanted to watch it, but I did. It is an easy movie to veg-out to.

The hubby and I were going to go out for dinner tonight. Hopefully I feel up to it. (I should be able to get a quick bite to eat with just him)

I am so happy I don't have any major plans this weekend!

Thursday, October 14, 2010

Season 6

I just started season 6 of Lost. I finished season 5 about a week and a half ago and took a little break. Just finished the first episode of season 6. So if you need me I will be watching Lost.

Getting Something off My Chest

Ok, this is something I have wanted to get off my chest for a long time now. There is so much to this story I don't know if I can even explain correctly.

Background: My mom's oldest brother (my uncle of course) died on September 21st. He was 56 years old. He had beginning stages of colon cancer and he went into surgery to get part of his colon removed and he did not come out of anesthesia (is that spelled right???) correctly. His organs shut down starting with his liver and kidney's. He was very unhealthy!!! Poor diet, overweight, severe alcoholic. Yes his liver and kidney's went first probably due to the alcoholism. He has been a severe drinker since probably 17 or 18 years old. He actually owns a bar. He actually had a very, very wide group of 'bar stool buddies' that, I guess if you asked them, they would say they were 'friends'. These 'friends' (and I can't express the sheer number of them) stole from him, lied to him, took free alcohol from his bar, asked to borrow his vehicles all the time, always made fun of his weight, etc, etc

Well, we actually didn't hold services for him until yesterday because he had no wife or children and my 84 year old grandma didn't get the ball rolling for awhile and my aunts helped her, but basically it just took from sept 21 to yesterday to do this. My grandma wanted a private service since she didn't want all his drinking buddies there. Well his drinking buddies were very mad at this. So they are doing all this weird stuff:

*they started this facebook fan page and everyone is telling stories about him-but all these stories are drinking stories from the bar that makes him look like such an alcoholic. They are really embarring stories of him.

*they all changed their profile pictures to picks of him at the bar holding whiskey bottles and drinking

*today they are doing a three hour long convey to all these bars and drinking a drink at tons of bars in his honor.

*they are posting really rude things to us on facebook because they couldn't go to his funeral

*this one lady on facebook wrote "love and miss you Uncle *&@^(insert name of course) he is not her uncle, he is mine and my cousins

*they are saying a lot of other rude things to my aunts and random people around town.

*one person also argued with me (she was falling down drunk and I was paying for my gas at the gas station and was having a conversation she pushed her way into) that I wasn't his niece. Yes I am that is my mom's brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*there are also lots of illegal things his friends have done with his property....I can't get into detail about this but it is very very bad.....stealing among others.....he actually lived in one of my grandma's houses (she has two)

I am just so embarrassed. They did not know the now bar stool side of him and they are being so mean. I wish I could tell some details but I can't.

Thursday, October 7, 2010

I had such a great work out today but then I came home an ate almost a whole package of Andes Mints.

I have such a busy weekend coming up. Tomorrow I am helping a friend shop for her daughters Halloween costume. In the evening, we are going to the comedy club again. Saturday we are burying my uncle and having a Mass in his honor, and Monday I am going to an apple orchard/pumpkin picking. I am excited!!!!!! Lots of fun stuff.

I didn't work at all this week. I wanted to. $$$$$ But I got a lot done around the house, so that is good. My husband enjoyed all the baking.

I will be watching TV all night tonight. I love Thursday night shows!!!

Kitchen Aid

Has anyone ever heard of a place that services kitchen aid mixers? Mine isn't broke, but I thought I might get it maintained. I want this one to last forever since I spent extra money to get the stainless steel metal one (not plastic) So, I was wondering if I should take it somewhere to get it greased for maintenance.

Tuesday, October 5, 2010

Tuesday

*Slept in but then went and worked out. I have worked out everyday they are open since I started (they are not open on Sundays)

*went to the salon and got a manicure, hair trim, and conditioning treatment

*shopped around for my birthday present (I know this sounds weird, but my husband will not know what to look for and he works a lot...he is ok with this) It looks like it is going to be harder to get than I thought. I want a macro lens for my camera. The one I want is back ordered on canon.com and none of our camera stores have it in stock, but there is one store that is trying to get it. By this time next week I will know whether or not they can get it soon or it will be back ordered and that could be 4 or more months. It I can't get it by my birthday then I will get a new charm for my tiffany and co charm bracelet.

*made Pizza casserole for dinner

*watched 19 kids and counting and Parenthood. I will be watching Teen Mom soon.

Well that was my day, not too interesting.

Fun Night

Date night last night was a blast! However, we did go out to eat first and I had the worst Philly cheesesteak I have ever had. It was so salty and dry!!!! But after dinner we had a little time before the show so we stopped at my brothers house who lives really close to the comedy club and chatted with him while he and his roommate ate dinner. The joke was hilarious and there were 3 comics. The comedy club is my favorite place to go. I am also going next weekend because I get in for free because of my birthday month (they pick one show a month and anyone with a birthday during that month gets in for free and their friends get in for $2 off) The headlining comedian is going to be on Joan and Melissa Rivers' new reality show that premieres in January on the WE network. She was very funny. I can't wait until next Friday when we will go again. Next Friday comedian is sometimes on the Chelsea Handler show and has been on David Letterman more than any other comic ever.

Today I am just chilling out. I just got back from church and trying to decide how I will spend the rest of my day. My husband is working so I will be alone.

Birthday Wish List

Since this is my birthday month. (Not until October 31st) I wanted to post my birthday wish list.

Cricut Cartridges-I do want the one listed, but actually any new one would be fine.

New Lens for my camera. I actually only want two more lens: a macro and a telephoto lens and that is all I will buy. I think I want the macro one first. So it won't be the one in the picture, but this is the first image I found in my google image search.

I love TV Series. I currently have FRIENDS, Sex and the City, and The Gilmore Girls in the complete series box set. I do want to own Roseanne next and because I hate the last season. I might actually buy these season by season which I normally don't do. So Season 1 of Roseanne.

A Tiffany and Co charm for my Tiffany and Co bracelet. I don't know exactly which one I want next quite yet, but this cupcake one is on my wish list. However, I might get the one that looks like a small Tiffany's gift box with a bow.

A COACH purse.
