Busy Bee

Sorry it has been awhile...since I got my ipad2....I have not been on my regular computer much...and I don't know how to blog from it....again...if anyone can help me with this it would be great.

So here is the catch up in terms of a weekend recap:

Friday-went to my mother-in-laws house for a sec and then to a fantasy football draft party.

Saturday-cleaned and cleaned and cleaned my house do to my mom flying in from Wyoming.

Saturday night-Had pizza and beer for my brother's birthday at a local pizza place and went back to his house for pie.

Sunday-went to the "Bath and Body Works" 2 for $20 candle sale and Sweet CECE's (which is a frozen yogurt place you make your own and they weigh it and you pay by the ounce.)

Sunday night-went to my cousins labor day party until really late.

Monday-Today-Went to breakfast with my mom and then she flew back home.

something else happened this weekend, but it needs it's own post...tomorrow hopefully.

The weather broke and last friday was a heat advisory and today it was sweatshirt weather. Crazy!

I work tues-fri and that is all that is planned for work so far.

Ipad Help

Does anyone have an Ipad? Why can I not blogger from the ipad....I am able to type in a title, but when I tap on the message body...I can not get the keyboard to pop up....I also cannot post a pic or video.....what do I not know?

Day at the Vet

This Saturday just whizzed by. I can't believe how fast it went. I basically spent all morning at the vet's office....my dog had his yearly exam, rabies, and was groomed. He also has a slight skin rash where he has a few bare spots on his back legs. He is now on an antibiotic and steriods for the next ten days. The only part of his exam that he failed was the teeth part. We need to brush his teeth more often. I did not know this. Growing up I had two dogs that we never brushed their teeth and they were always perfectly fine. This dog I brush once a month and apparently that is not enough. He is quite high maintenance :)

After that I ran to the grocery store and then back home where I read and organized pictures (still in process). Then dinner and we rewatched an older movie called "In Good Company" with Topher Grace.

Then the day was done. Like a snap!

I am not tired at all, but I need to get back on a better sleep schedule because I probably will be starting work soon. I need to stop sleeping to 10:30-11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tattoo

I am trying to squeeze in a quick post....so sorry if this is rushed.

I am going with my friend tomorrow to watch her get a tattoo. I am NOT getting one...just watching. I am kind of excited to watch one up close.

My husband, brothers and I got professional pictures taken tonight. I should get them back in about 2-3 weeks. It was pretty warm outside, so I got sweaty....we got pics taken in studio and then some outside. (2 different outfit changes)

Tomorrow I just have the tattoo thing and then getting my dog vaccinated.

Oh, speaking of my dog, he found 3 dead rabbit babies and layed them around my patio for me to walk up on, thank you very much :( So happy I didn't step on them!

I am getting an IPAD2 in 4-6 weeks. The reason it is 4-6 weeks is because with my banking reward points I am getting a $100 best buy gift card and I am going to wait for that to come to assist me in purchasing the IPAD2, might as well save $100! Is the IPAD2 the best tablet to get??????????????????????? If you read this and know......please give me any pros and cons to IPAD2 vs other tablets. Please? I want your opinion.

Yikes, Sorry

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. I really have been busy! Here are a few things I have been up to:

I believe I have already blogged about how my grandmother gave me tons of pictures. Well, I have been scrapbooking like crazy and this has really been the most time consuming thing lately. I am trying to have it done by labor day because my mom is coming into town and I want to show her.

Then, while scrapbooking, I have needed to go to my picture shelf to find pictures to fill in some holes. Well, everytime I did this I would spend almost an hour going through all these pictures trying to find one and I thought to myself "This is ridiculous". They were so unorganized. So in the middle of this scrapbooking project I also decided to overhaul and totally reorganized my pictures.

So two major time consuming projects at the same time.

Not only that, but my brothers, husband, and I have an appointment on Wednesday night to get some professional pictures done and I have been shopping for clothes for all four of us in preparation of that.

So, that is not an excuse, but it will have to do for now.

I also have been meeting friends for lunch and had a few parties lately.

I went on a late night walk tonight and it was so relaxing and the weather was so cool out after the sun went down...I really do love late night walks. I wish I had a neighbor who would like to walk with me!!!!!!!!

A friend gave me a bunch of zucchinis tonight, so I will be making bread tomorrow. I also found a zucchini pancake recipe on Pioneer Woman's website....so that might be breakfast tomorrow.

Dramatic Weekend

But recap first:

Friday-I finally got my cap for my tooth...thank goodness that is over. I also baked a ton for my husband's family reunion on Saturday. Once my husband got home we went for ice cream and rented a movie called "Get Low" quite disappointed in the movie.

Saturday-We went to my husband's family reunion. Typical reunion...we had a good time. After the reunion we went to a friends pool party. There were tons of our friends there and we stayed for a long time. Here is the drama:


Just at dusk I am standing next to my husband talking to our friend Doug. Right in the middle of my sentence we all heard a VERY loud motorcycle Rev and then a way louder "pphhhssssh" sound. (If you didn't understand that sound, I mean a crash) We ran around to the front yard and two houses down from the house I was at I saw a layed down crotch rocket motorcycle with pieces all over the road...a set of headlights reversing.....and a boy on the road holding his leg moaning. Several of us ran up to him...I was one of them....I grabbed my phone to call 911 but I wanted to get close to him so that I could tell the operator the story the best I could. When several of us got up to him, he said his full name and date of birth (no one asked he just said that) he was holding his leg and rocking on his side. I did realize that he was at the party. So basically he got on his motorcycle and went two house lengths and crashed. As our group in a split second decided who was going to call 911 it was our friend 'J', some man came up behind us screaming and shoving us back (yes me too) he was so big and loud and I had to idea who he was (he did not tell us yet) Some of our guy friends automatically got super pissed off at this guy (you know zero to pissed in .004 seconds flat) and a cussing shouting match insued. He started screaming saying "I am going to have you all arrested!!" Over and over again very loudly. Now I can't speak to my other friends, but I was just worried about "J" getting through to 911 and getting all the info we can to give them. Then some other man squatted down on the victim (I do know him, but I don't want to say his name here) and the big guy aloud him without yelling at him. The guy who squatted yelled "Does anyone have a watch?" (Welcome to the age of cell phones where most people I know don't wear one, but I do!) (apparently the big guy must know the squatting guy since he aloud him there.) Well since the squatting man asked for a watch which I assumed he wanted to count a pulse to see if blood pressure was dropping for internal bleeding. I wanted to volunteer my watch. So I opened my mouth and took a step forward and wanted to say "You can use mine" But all I got out was "y". The big man screamed in my face and shoved me back. At this exact time my friends got more angry and two of my friends noticed that the gasoline was leaking very bad out of the bike. My friends all own motorcycles and were worried about an explosion so one friend said to the other...."Turn the ignition off so the electrical system doesn't make a spark" So one friend went to turn of the ignition and the big man left me and started to verbally attack and get up on the friends screaming "Your going to jail, your going to jail" After this rant the big guy finally said, "I am the fire commisioner" Well jerk....let us know this. We wanted to take care of our friends and you were just a yelling dude for a long time. So here our friend is on the ground and his motorcycle is leaking gasoline with the ignition on.

The fire commisioner...fc from now on......was way more interested in yelling at us and getting us to step back then letting us know who he was, attending to the victim, calling 911, or taking care of the gasoline/electrical stuff. None of us were going to touch him (possible neck injuring and all) and we were in the process of walking back. We were the ones to call 911 and we were the ones who thought about the gas. Not the f.c.!!!! What the heck.....the one squatting guy was attending to the victim and asked for a watch and I was the only one who had one.

So after this...we noticed the car that hit him and realized it was one of our good friends and his dad, c&m who just said bye to us in the back yard. I then found out that our friend 'J' was putting stuff in his trunk and c&m said, "Bye J" and then the motorcycle hit c's car right square in the front. Parts of the motorcycle hit J in the back of the head and shoulder and hand. The accident happened 4 feet from him and his wife.

Well after the cops got there 3 of them came over to the driveway we were at and started to yell at us and cussed at us several times using the 'f' word. None of us touched him, we called 911, and we turned the ignition off and we know him! He was at our party.

Our friend is fine. He lost his tooth and dislocated his knee.

Hung out with my friend yesterday at her photography studio

Been scrapbooking a lot. I am working on a huge project.

Baking a lot today for a family reunion tomorrow.

My brothers, husband, and I are having our picture taken and I am trying to organize the wardrobe of all 4 of us.

Very upset with my little brother right now since he is going to the Blake Shelton concert tonight and I am not :)
