Weekend Recap, Easter, and It's a Twister...It's a Twister!

Ok here goes:

Friday: My grandparents are in an "Old Model Ford" car club.....(however, any classic car owner or any classic car owner wannabe can be in this club...they basically have monthly meetings and then travel around viewing and entering their classic cars in car shows around the area) Well, once a year their car club hosts an event. This years event was this past Saturday...however I go the day before on set up day....basically because I can. My grandfather helps with the set up and my grandmother floats around and does nothing really. Well their show is not only a car show but also a swap meet. By going on Friday...not every vendor is fully set up and not every car is in place, but close enough. (The show is held indoors in a huge events center in my town. So Friday, my brother came over and we went for a walk and ran errands and then we went up to the car show. Saw lots of pretty cars that I want and did a little garage saling or swap meeting shopping around the cars. This might all be confusing to you....it is hard to describe. Later that evening I just made dinner and watched a movie.

Saturday: My mom came into town from Wyoming so we had breakfast and then went shopping at the Mall. I really was not in the mood to go shopping...it really was just something to do with my mom. However, I have been wanting a really comfy pair of flip flops so I did get an Adidas pair that I love. After that, I can home and tried to put my kitchen back together the best I can (remember...we are doing a little kitchen remodel) My husband worked really late this day.)

Sunday: (today Easter) My husband had to work a little today, but when he got home....we went to my little brothers for Easter.....just ate dinner and talked.

When we got home I decided to go to Walmart to get pictures printed and some light shopping. While I was there my phone rang and it was my husband asking if I was ok....I thought he called to ask this because before I left I told him I had a really bad headache. So I just said, "I am fine" and he said, "I mean are you safe from the tornado" and I said, "What?" At that moment the manager of Wal-mart came over the speaker and told everyone to go to the center of the store and told all cashiers to close their registers and go to the center of the store. I was really freaked out and my husband stayed on the phone with me the whole time. Nothing else happened and after 5 mins they canceled the watch and allowed the cashiers to return to their registers and I paid and went home. After that we just watched the "Celebrity Apprentice"

The kitchen remodel is about 90% done. I am really debating on jumping the gun and posting the reveal early because I am so excited to show you, but I really want everything to get done. My husband is really getting burnt out on work (working his regular job, a side job, and our own kitchen remodel) and he told me tonight that he really needs to stop thinking about one thing...because he is getting burnt out. So he is taking tomorrow night off of our kitchen. The only things that need to be finished before I show you a pic is the blind for the window over the sink needs to be put back on (and the window trim painted) and some wall touch-ups. The under-cabinet lighting can wait and that is all we have left. Hopefully soon.
