Fun Saturday

I had such a mellow Saturday and it was fantastic. I actually slept in VERY late, which I probably should not of done. I slept until 10:30. Wow! I then wanted to get a pedicure so I went and got one. I also wanted a manicure, but I decided to save the money at that time. On my way to the pedicure, I noticed that one of our town buildings had a whole bunch of old T.V.s and computers in the parking lot. I wondered if it was community electrical clean-up day. I have 2 old T.V.s that I have been wanting to get rid of but our regular garbage will not take them, so they have been sitting around the basement until I find a way to dispose of them. I got on the city website and it said that it was the community electrical clean-up day from 9-3. Great!!! However, my husband was a long ways away working and I have a small car and can not lift the TV. So I called my dad and grandpa to help. When I got down to the town building they said they were not taking anymore TVs and turned us away. It was 1:50. They were suppose to take TVs until 3pm so that made me really upset because we put so much work into it. Because I was upset about all that work and my husband said he was going mushroom hunting after work, I decided to go ahead and get that manicure. So in one Saturday, I went to two nail salons, hahaha!!!

I then rented some movies: The King's Speech, Little Fockers, and The Romatics. I watched 1/2 of Kings Speech and then my hubby came home. We decided to go to 'Chili's' for dinner and then we went to the mall. I wanted to show him and price some anniversary presents. Here are the two things we looked at tonight.

This mirror opens up to be a jewelry armoire (sp?) or a jewelry organizer if I spelled that wrong.

or I want an Aquamarine ring (round cut) I believe I will probably get one that looks VERY similar to this one, but I will probably get white sapphires around the aquamarine and down the band instead of diamonds, just to keep the price down. I have several diamond rings, so I don't need it.
So hopefully one of these two things will be my anniversary present. My husband wants golf shoes. BTW our anniversary isn't until June 30th so it will be awhile.

Then we came home and had ice cream while watching 'Little Fockers'

Tomorrow I have a cook-out for my dad's birthday and that is my only plan. I did however get this book

from the library, so I hope to find time to read it.

Bye now!
