Here we are Sunday night again. Here is my weekend wrap-up:
Thursday (Thanksgiving)- We went to my brothers and a good time was had by all. Thursday night the hubby and I stayed around the house and just relaxed. My mom flew in this evening, but she stayed at my brothers house so I did not see her this day.
Friday-My mom attended an informal wedding reception (the reason she came into town) at noon. I didn't do a whole lot, the one thing I DID do was NOT attend black Friday sales hahaha. I was in my nice warm bed until 10am thank you very much! At 2:30 I met my mom at the nursing home my great aunt was in, she is not doing so well. We looked through a genelogy scrapbook I made earlier this Fall
Mom on left, grandma in middle, and great aunt on right.
Then we came home, picked up my husband and went out for dinner. After dinner, we dropped my husband off back at home (he worked that day and was going to work the next so he was tired) and mom and I went to see "Jack and Jill" It was way better than what I was expecting!!!!! So funny!!!! After that we went late night grocery shopping because my mom was cooking us a meal the next night.
Saturday, was suppose to be dinner prep, shopping, and then meeting my aunt's and grandma at her house, then home to eat dinner, and attend our town's annual 'Festival of Lights' Parade....however Saturday it rained cats and dogs all day long so we did not go to the parade. However we did no dinner prep and then put my Christmas Tree up. We also went shopping and I got a new pair of pjs and a new Christmas Tree skirt. We then went to my grandma's and chit chatted and then home to eat. My husband came home from work at this time and my brother came over too. After dinner, since we did not go to the parade, we watched "A Very Brady Christmas" and laughed and laughed and made fun of everything. It actually was a ball.
Sunday-Today my husband and I tackled our to-do lists and I watched Sister Wives (balled like a baby) and Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Now lets go back to where I was talking about the geneology scrapbook I made. I am going to do a post later with pics from it, but there is one pic in particular that I just have to show now because it is just so funny.
First some background, my great-great grandfather on my mom's side owned and operated a brewery in our town. So the pic I am about to show you is my great great grandfather and his sons at said brewery. The reason I have to post it is because everyone in the pics is obviously completey trashed!!! Drunk Drunk Drunk!!! Here goes: (Please notice the bag on one of their heads)
