We just got a new TV in Nov and knew nothing! What the Best Buy people told us is that if you are keeping the TV somewhere with a lot of light it is best to get LCD and if it is going somewhere like a basement Plasma is best. Plasma reflects a lot of light and you can see it on the screen. We were thinking Sony b/c of the reputation but several people recommended Samsung, they are cheaper and according to the people we talked to...made the same. We ended up getting a 46" LCD Samsung and we love it!
I have a Sharp LCD tv. If you are a member of Cosco check them out, they have some great deals. I got what they called a "two room makeover" and it was a great deal for 2 TVs.
Just a wife living and loving life in the Heartland. Mommy to one beautiful furbaby. Praying, wishing, hoping, longing to be a mommy to a baby as soon as possible. I love to scrapbook, cook, bake, watch movies, and spending time with my hard working husband.
