A few friends and I went to a few garage sales today and we came up with a list of....
"Things not to sell at a garage sale":
-used shower loofahs (sp?-those sponge type things that you use in the shower with liquid body wash)
-bras/underwear
-expired food products (I don't care if it is in it's original package...it is expired)
-3/4 empty bottle of lotions
-candles that have been burnt for long periods of time (also IMO any candles that have been burnt at all)
-notebooks that have been written in
-broken glassware (there was this white glass ornate bowl with a handle and the handle was broke clean off)
-books that you price more than what the suggested retail price states on the book to begin with
-I personally don't like nasty looking shoes (shoes is one thing I will always insist on buying new....the one exception might be little baby shoes)
-anybody else have anything to add
On a side note...I bought some "OneADay" prenatal vitamins just in case.....I read that it is recommended that you take prenatal vitamins at least 4 months before you actually try and since we have been trying I thought I better get one that. (Probably should of been taking them for a while now)
On anther side note-My town just started this new entertainment thing that is suppose to model like a "Bourbon Street" type thing....where one street in downtown is shut down Mon-Sat from 6 pm to midnight and restaurants can bring table out on the street and there is live music and artists, etc, etc...the hubby and I ate at one of the restaurants tonight....the weather was so amazing....I could camp out tonight and probably have the best nights sleep....it was so fun.
