Ok, better birthday post

Ok, as promised, I am back with a better birthday post.

I really had such a great weekend. I couldn't of asked for more.

Saturday:
-went to my churches bake sale and craft show (just stayed for a little bit)
-watched a few episodes of Mad Men
-I had a few visitors stop by and say hello
-went shopping with the hubby
-went out to dinner
-went to a movie-We saw "Life As We Know It" (I didn't really like it) We are going to watch Due Date next weekend so hopefully I will like that more

Sunday:
-opened presents (I will tell you what I got in just a sec.)
-I had a few more visitors stop by and say hello along with tons of phone calls
-watched more "Mad Men" Love this show!!!!
-ordered pizza
-watch "Friday the 13th" while handing out candy
-Oh and carved pumpkins. I usually wait until the day before or day of. The pumpkins look more fresh. I will never understand why some people carve their pumpkins so early and then they are rotten by Halloween

Ok, gifts (I love to hear what people get as gifts, so I won't be shy)

a new lens

This exact one. A compact macro 50mm. (since I am not a professional photographer, I just got the cheapest macro lens)

-a purse and money from my mom

-money from my dad


-another new to me/antique purse from my grandma which is very 1960ish...so very Mad Men!!!

-Seasons 1, 2, and 3 of Roseanne
I hope to finish my series collection at Christmas

-a crop-a-dile big bite (it is a scrapbooking tool for those who don't know that)
-a fryer and gift card from my brother
(yes I know this sounds weird)
It is one of those big outdoor fryers for like frying a turkey....they are nice to have....my husband is a fisherman so we can have fish frys

So all in all a great birthday!!!!!!!!!!!
