So we will see what it says. Also, I am trying to find out how much fertility treatments costs if we do medical intervention. First I started by asking other bloggers who are portraying their fertility treatments on their blogs=no one has answered.
Next, I called my ob/gyn's office....person on the phone had no idea what I should do and when or how much it cost...she eventually transfered me to the billing department and the billing dept. had no idea how much anything cost...funny isn't it? Then the billing department told me to talk to a fertility clinic but could not guide me to any.
I don't know what to do first and when and how much?
My last year's ob/gyn pap appointment she did not want to talk to me about the route to fertility at that appointment...she just wanted to do the pap and that was it.
I don't know what to do and I feel so alone....nobody has answers......
I wish I had answers. I don't but I will be thinking about you!
ReplyDeleteYou might consider a new dr. if your current physician doesn't want to discuss options with you. (also if there staff is that clueless)
ReplyDeleteGenerally for a fertility clinic/specialist, you will need a referral from your obgyn and once you have the referral the clinic/specialist will talk with you about billing/cost options with your health insurance.
Good luck!! I hope that is helpful.
Wow, that's a bummer! I can't believe nobody has any help for you, especially your obgyn! I have no answers either, wish I did. Have you been taking your temp and charting that everyday? That's what we did, and it at least gave us some guidance for what was going on in my body. Hope you find the info you need!
ReplyDeleteYou need to get in touch with a fertility specialist!!! They will have the answers for you. Have you tried Clomid? That's what worked for me, on the first cycle!! Good luck. I know it is hard, and I know the feeling of seeing everybody else pregnant and having babies...but your turn will come!!!
