Much needed evening

I am having a much needed evening after this weekend. We ordered dominos pizza, lite a candle, and I am going to soak my feet in my foot spa while watching teen mom. Ok, I am ready to catch you up on my weekend.

My husband's stepfather had a massive stroke on Saturday. In hindsight we know it was a long time coming. He was really dizzy, tired, and had blurred vision for several weeks. He had a MRI scheduled for today. However last saturday he was feeling especially bad so they went to the emergency room to get a MRI right away. After, he came out of the MRI, he had a massive stroke in the hospital's hallway. A main artery is 100% blocked. The doctor said when he came in Saturday morning, it was probably 99% blocked and then it just blocked. He has been in a locked-up state ever since. He is cognitively able to know what is going on, but he can not reply back. He can't do anything except blink his eyes. He is not breathing on his own. As soon as the vent is out, he will stop breathing shortly after that. The vent is being taken out tomorrow at 8:00. He had family traveling to come see him so that is why we are waiting until tomorrow. Then it will be a waiting game and probably a short waiting game. So that is how my weekend went.
