Living and Loving Life in the Heartland

I spent today running errand after errand.  I am so happy to be done!  One of the many things I had to do today was get an oil change.  Even though I really didn't want to, I decided to go to Walmart to get my oil change (I normally go to one of those 10min places).  The reason I went to Walmart is because I also have to get a birthday gift for a 2 year old whose party is Sunday and we just got the invitation yesterday.  So two birds one stone thing.  Well the oil change took FFFOOOOORRRREEEVVVEEERRRR (forever).  They said it would take 45 mins when I first dropped it off...(which I thought was crazy because I was only one of two cars there) but I thought I could walk around for 45 mins.  Well I came back after 45 mins and the hood of my car was still up.  I asked how much longer and they said 10mins geez!  They said that a lube audit popped up on my car.  I asked what that was and they said randomly some cars are chosen for the audit.  They have a bunch of new staff so basically if the audit pops up then the manager and new staff have to gather around and review things or whatever.  (so I guess my car was a teaching tool)  Of course the pregnant lady gets the audit for the new staff.  Then it took longer than the additional 10 mins.  Then when I finally got the keys handed to me the employee said, "Sorry it took so long...we had a tire delivery in the middle of it."  So basically when a tire delivery happens the world stops and everyone has to help.  (can't one person still continue with the oil change????....apparently not)  So I get the tire delivery and the lube audit...great...I had all the time in the world today (sarcasm)

Because of this...I got less time at the gym than I wanted to, which sucked because I was feeling so good during my workout and I didn't want to stop.

I just needed to vent about the horribly long oil change...I am done now.
