More Details
Ok, here are more details. Let me start by saying pregnancy is natural...trillions of women have done it. I am going to be open and honest at all times. So we might be leaning towards TMI. If you do not like this, don't read it. If you read it and give nasty comments than you are an idiot because I am warning you now.
Ok...I believe everyone already knows that we have been trying for 3 years to actively get pregnant. We never have had any medical interaction what so ever and there are two reasons why. The first reason I have already explained in an earlier post and the second reason I will explain in my next post. The only thing I can think of to tell you is my husband quit smoking for 3 months (well he still has quit but it has been 3 months) I am not saying that is the reason, but that is the only thing that has changed.
I don't even know the order in which to explain things. I hope you are able to understand this.
Well, it took a lot for me to buy a pregnancy test. The first year and a half we tried I was buying test after test after test. I wasted so much money and they were always negative. Basically one day I promised myself that I wouldn't jump to conclusions because I never wanted to see another negative test ever again. So remember it took a lot to even buy one now.
I don't currently have many 'symptoms' I have only had one real pregnancy symptom. I did miss my period in March, BUT this really didn't say much to me because I miss periods all the time. I was really late to even get them in high school and I only had 3 or 4 a year for the first 3 or 4 years...then I started to get them more often, but still not 12 a year. They also were always really light and really short. They usually started on a Tuesday afternoon....kind of bad on Wednesday...and then where totally done done done by Thursday evening. My friends hated me. So missing a period is not weird for me. Also, I have never in my life had a 'cramp' from a period. I actually had no idea what they even felt like. I have had gas cramps before, but one good fart always made them go right away. The only way in the past I knew my period was coming is I would pop a few zits and I know it was one 1 or 2 days away. While on my period I would sometimes even forget I was because they were easy. So...me missing a period is not shocking. And this is the only symptom I have had.
I do not feel sick at all...I do not have breast tenderness....I have not cried at sappy commercials....I have not gone off on anyone.......I have not been overly tired all the time (one small tid bit on this topic in a minute)....nothing......because of this I really don't feel as if this is real.....I feel like I am pretending.
Well, last Thursday I was watching T.V. and at 9:30pm I was really tired and just had to go to sleep...I went to turn off the TV and I think I fell asleep while setting the remote down and rolling over because I don't remember anything after setting the remote down. This was my one tid bit on tiredness. This has been the only time I have been tired.
Early this week I had what I thought was an anemic attack at the gym but now I don't think that is what it was because it was really bad.
And my last, hmmmm moment, came on Wednesday. I was at work and I felt the need to sit down and then I got reaaaaallllllyyyyyyy hungry. I never get really hungry. I eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner so I normally don't feel extreme hunger. Again Wednesday at 10:45am was the one and only time this happened.
So...the missed period....the 'anemic attack', the 9:30 exhaustion, and the Wednesday hungry moment all added together made my wonder. I actually truly thought my anemia was getting worse. But I bought a pregnancy test anyways. It came in a two pack. So I took both tests and they both came up to what I believed was a positive. I still wasn't sure if I was reading them correctly because I was suppose to have 2 blue lines...well imo I had a blue line and a grey line...so I went back to the store and bought the digital tests.....
FYI----HERE IS A BIT OF ADVICE FROM ME.....BUY THE DIGITAL TEST FIRST....DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THE TWO BLUE LINES.....I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT I WOULD SAVE A FEW BUCKS.....BUT AFTER I BOUGHT THE BLUE LINES AND DIGITAL....I SPENT MORE MONEY THAN IF I WOULD OF BOUGHT THE DIGITAL ONE FIRST....BUY THE DIGITAL ONE....YOU WILL FEEL MORE COMFORTED!!!!!!!!!
The lady at the store remembered me as buying a pregnancy test 45mins before...I was a little embarrassed. Here is also a funny story-since I was home alone yesterday and I did some dishes and light cleaning....I didn't put my wedding rings on. As I was driving to the store the first time I thought "Crap I don't have my wedding rings" but then I did it again the second time. I really wanted to say..."I am married" I am not saying it is bad to have a baby and not be married. I am just saying I am married and I just wanted to reflect that since I am.
Well the digital test was also a 2 pack...so I took 4 tests total. All 4 are positive. I feel totally fine and normal....I do not feel pregnant at all. But I did have 4 positive tests....2 digital......Also the digital tests said it could take 1-3mins to be done....my positive anwers was ready in like 20 seconds.
Well that is enough for this post I have more to come.

Very Long Time-No Talk
I am here, I am alive. There really is no excuse to why I have not been writing nothing important or interesting has been happening. Because it has been so long. I am going to do a quick catch-up post with bullet points.
*I recently joined a gym so that has been taking up time again. The gym is brand new so all the equipment is brand new and shiny. Every cardio machine has a TV on is...it is glorious since I love TV.
On Tuesday, I did have an anemic attack (this is what I call it...I am anemic and sometimes when my iron is low I will get light headed, shaky, weak, and sick feeling.) Well on Tueaday we were planning on going out for ice cream and I wanted some so I decided to do double time on the cardio so I can earn it. I purposely planned on going at 2pm so I could watch Rachel Ray and Dr. Phil. I normally do 60 mins of cardio so double would be 2 hrs. At 140 mins into I about passed out. I then sat on a bike and pedeled slowly to cool down and just couldn't get back to normal, so I skipped the weights and drove home (I probably should not of driven, but there was no one I could call) I was still really shakey and I blow through the door, left it wide open, ran to the cabinet to grab peanut butter (the closest thing I could think of) took a huge scoop of that until I could get to some iron. I still was not back to normal yesterday so I decided to do bodyflow...instead of a intense workout. I still am not perfect so if I was smart I should take today off. This sucks because I have no plans today, so I would have plenty of time to go to the gym. I have not decided...I may go and just walk slowly.
*I saw baby chicks hatch last week. This is a dull point, but it was cool to me because I love animals.
*Mad Men started again...(2 weeks ago) so everything is right in the world again. I am shocked that Joan's husband is ok with the baby not being his.
*Weather has been wacky...extremely hot and then extremely cold...repeat, repeat...I was miserably hot yesterday and now I am freezing cold!!!!
*For Easter this year, my family is going to brunch...We usually cook at home so this will be different. How busy are restaurants on Easter? Is this a stupid question? We are going to a restaurant called "Granite City" if you have one near you you know what I am talking about.
*My flower beds seems to have less weeds in them this Spring. I hope I didn't speak to soon on this.
*See nothing really interesting has been happening...the main reason I haven't been bloggin is because I discovered "Draw Something" so that has been taking over my life at the moment.

Tuesday Random
I don't have one topic today...so I will just play catch-up:
*We had concrete poured which you already know, but it is all done and the clean-up is almost done...we have a little bit of grass seed to spread and then that should be behind us.
*My husband installed a clothesline for me outside on Sunday night. I have already used it twice. I like it. It will save wear and tear on my dryer plus electricity. I will use my dryer at night, rainy days, and winter, but I can use my clothesline on sunny days. The one down fall I have found so far is that I found one bug in a sheet on Monday. I now know I should shake things out as I take cloths off.
Oh BTW it is a retractable one...so I can put it away when I am done.
*Last night we went out to eat with my family at an Italian restaurant. It was so fun! My grandparents bought us dinner. We were able to give my older brother his scrapbook that I finished (I talked about this previously). He really liked it!
*Today I went to an antique mall. I got a set of embroidered pillow cases and a Pyrex dish to replace one that broke awhile back. It is so fun to browse.
*We have so many outside projects to do.
*My mom is coming on Friday and staying until Sunday morning.
*I made the best blackberry cheesecake yesterday. It was a pioneer woman's recipe of course.
*My dinner is cooking right now and I am so hungry. I have to wait another 30mins and that is hard.
*It was 80 degrees today...I was sweating a little when I was doing some light yard work.
I finished rewatching all the Mad Men seasons in anticipation for the 5th season premiere on March 25th. I am so excited! Thank goodness it is back!
Well that is all for now. Bye

Should I be concerned?
Ok, so I probably should be embarrassed to admit this, but I am going to so that you understand my story.
From my childhood, I have kept one box of my old Barbies...I really never had the heart to throw them away...I never had that many so they all fit in one box....I never look at them or touch them...they are just sitting in a box in the basement. I just don't have the heart to get rid of them. Also, when I was little and played with Barbies, two of the Barbies I played with were my mom's from the '60's (seriously...on the back of them they say- copyright 1963) So I always had this dream that if I saved my Barbies, my daughter would play with them just like I played with my mom's....I really wanted this to happen....I wanted my daughter to play with my Barbies.
I also kept a very small plastic container of my old play kitchen food and utensils. Like plastic peas, crackers, small plates, small forks, etc. Again, not a lot...I did this so my non-existent daughter could play with them or if I ever had to babysit a girl, I had just a few toys to play with her.
So, there you have it, one box of barbies and one container of play food toys. Now, I have not looked at them in probably over 20 years. I just have moved the boxes from house to house.
Well, last Thursday, I was going through several tubs I have in my basement, when I came across these. Just for the heck of it, I opened the lid just to peek inside. When I opened the lid to the play food, I found something in there that I totally forgot about until I saw it.
In the eights and nineties when moms with small children were at places like church or sporting events or whatever, they would have cheerios that they would let their kids snack on to keep them quiet. Moms now a days use those Gerber puffs more often (I am sure there are moms that still have a cheerio supply on them) Well, when I was really little and still played with dolls my mom put some cheerios in a bag and I would pretend to feed them to my dolls just like those moms in church.
So when I opened the lid I saw those old cheerios in the baggie...I thought 'gross' and I threw them in the garbage. Well last night my husband was in the basement and I could hear him say, "Bad Dog" I went down to see what our dog did. My husband found a chewed up plastic bag on the floor. (there were no cheerios near the bag) My dog got into the garbage, pulled out the old cheerios, ripped the bag, ate the old cheerios, and left the baggie on the floor.
MY DOG ATE 25 YEAR OLD CHEERIOS! GROSS GROSS GROSS!!!!!!! PUKE!
He is as happy as a clam today, so I don't think he is sick from it?

Correction
If you watched my vlog I said something about the Pioneer Woman's new book coming out. Well I gave the wrong date. I said March 11th in the video but it is March 13. I am not sure if anyone cares but I that I would make that correction. I pre-ordered her book last night.

Vlog
This is a vlog on my tips for cookbooks...I am thinking about doing a whole kitchen tips series for beginner cooks. I got cut off so this is in 2 parts.
I forgot to add one thing: When I shop for cookbooks, not only do I look for binder or spiral bond....I also like pictures...I do enjoy seeing what the final dish is suppose to look like.

Concrete
Today was a very productive day....love those! Despite the strong winds which is just annoying. We got some concrete poured.
We got our driveway widened, a sidewalk that connects my patio to garage side door, our front porch steps fixed, and a low spot by the house fixed. Here are the driveway and sidewalk (the other two things aren't as exciting and you would have to see a before pic to understand which I don't have.)

-

I then had lunch with a friend and ran some errands with her.

I said something bad today.
Most of you know I am a substitute teacher. I said something bad in front of my students today and I totally did not mean to say it and I definitely shouldn't of said it. It literally just rolled off my tongue.
One of my students was out of the room and was gone for a long time with another teacher. We started talking about him. (I said, "Is so and so usually back in time to go to library with us? " Then the kids went, "yes, no, yes, yes he does, no he doesn't" ((You get the picture)) Right when we were talking about him I saw his head through the window of the door and I said, "Speak of the devil"
OH NO!!!!
I probably should not of said that. That is a phase my family, friends, and acquaintances of mine have said my entire life. It just slipped out. I really didn't think before I spoke. All my students noticed because they said something. They said "Is that bad to say?" Then I said, "I am sorry, I should not of said that but it is just a saying."
What makes matters worse it this kid has major behavior problems (which is why he was not in my class....he is on my class rooster, but is pulled to a behavior class but he comes back just for specials (music, pe, library) and right before lunch to walk down with us.) So it really did sound like I was calling him a devil...I know it sounds bad. He is deaf so he didn't hear me. He can actually read lips very well, be he was not looking at me.
I really hope they don't go home and tell their parents and then have a parent call the school. I will be nervous all of time about this.
I know teachers make mistakes...I once heard a teacher say sh*t in class accidentally.
I am just kicking myself right now.
